Default Door panel

Just got a '97 C5 and the door covering has blistered above the arm rest. What are the best fixes for this? Buy new panels, where? Remove and reglue? Would this hold. Have been told that the '97-'00 vettes have this problem.
Thanks, Richard

I have been looking into the same thing. Check this thread out.

It looks like the best solution is to cut a slit in the vinyl on the door, glue it down and cover it with aftermarket armrests. See the link for a better explanation.

I agree that if you can slit the bubble and glue it down, then get the padded armrest. I don't have the bubble problem on mine, but did install a set of Vette Essentials arm rests and they are so much more comfortable than the stock armrest.

Armrests make it not very noticable.
