Default Price this Vette!

Well..........Here is my mind wandering again.
Could I get some ideas from my Corvette brothers and sisters as to what price I should ask for my car (which I am sure I would offer to forum members first.)
I am getting pretty serious about selling it.
Why?.........Hmmmmmmm, I almost can't give a good answer; but there are some other cars out there that are starting to grab me.
I really need to find this fact out first before I even consider one, as they are quite pricey.

Here's what I have: 32,000 mile 2001 coupe Torch red w/torch red interior. A4 with an entire new differential with 3.42 gears. Z06 sway bars with Bilstein sport shocks, metal endlinks, poly bushings, Vararam with Z06 screens,
CCW 505a wheels (polishd)with BFG KDW2's 295 in the rear 275 in front, Drilled and slotted rotors with torch red painted centers. Corsa indy exhaust with pro series tips
Optima battery, I have a brand new hud display still in the box waiting to be installed, painted top,and the computer wastuned by EG.
This car does not burn a drop of oil and was built after the ring correction. It is lowered on the stock bolts.
Clean history, and has been pampered as a garage queen. and comes with the balance of the extended warranty.
Honest opinions please! Thanks

You will probably get better feedback in the C5 for sale section. Selling my 2001 coupe a couple of years ago with similar equipmentand mileage brought $31K on the trade for the Z06. My guess on your car now if it is truly pristine would be around $24-25K.

My buddy bought a near stock 2001 red coupe with 23K miles; loaded with HUD automatic polished wheels nearly 2 years ago for $23.000. Mods usually lower value unless someone is looking in that direction, especially on Corvettes. Realistically, a coupe like that would be $21-23 in Denver. My buddy just got a deal. You're in Florida, you might do better. Last summer I sold a loaded white 01 vert with auto and 9800 miles for 30K. Had every option including magnisium wheels and in mint condition. A dealer might give you $20k if you're lucky and trading good.

I can give you what the wholesale market value of you car is. That is… what a dealership would pay for this car with those miles at auction. A buddy of mine is a buyer for a Chevy dealer in So. Cali. He said the book value for it is $24 -25K. That is if it was bone stock with those miles. Then add/deduct for the aftermarket work done to the car. As stated before... most people (IE dealers) would like the car bone stock. But add to that what you think the mods are worth. Hope that helps some.

Sad to say, but these guys are pretty accurate in the low 20's. Good luck.

I appreciate all your help everyone; I think if thats the case I should put stock wheels on and sell that $4,300 wheel and tire package separately!
I really thought that some of those mods being kind of "prefered" and "tasteful" mods, would help bring the price up.

I think If I do sell it, it would only be to a forum member who would appreciate those items.

Thanks guys for your help!

I know this is not what you asked, but my opinion is just keep the car and quit being unfaithful to her by looking at others!.

Most of the time, Mods don't raise the price, but lower. Some people think when they are buying a modded car, that it has been beaten. (myself included) I tend to stay away from modded cars. When looking for a car like a Vette, the more stock the better. IMHO. I would sell my mods and return the car to stock before I sell it.

Good luck

Just depends on how many like the red interior! IMHO!

I also have an 01 coupe, MY, with every available option, Z51, 3:15, sport seats, A4, 12 disk changer, power seats (both), dual climate, electro mirror, memory settings, power telescoping steering wheel, both tops. I bought it in June of 06. It had 99,000 on it (highway miles: I spoke with the previous owner). I know that is a big difference in your car. I paid 17,750. Absolutely no problems with the car. It even had an aftermarket alarm system and satellite radio (paid for, it still works). It only had minor rock chips, it still looks and shines like new.

Definately decided to keep the Vette and sell the Camaro.....My wife had a fit when I told her what I was considering!
Apparently she loves the Vette more than I knew!

From the picture in your profile it looks really nice for a 99k o1.
