One: I am assuming that the wire that leads to the switch on the mirror, is the one that’s
Carries the power.
Seconds: on the homelink unit does any one know which one is the power, my unit has a white wire and a black one.
Have the bought a extra visor, got it torn apart just wondering which to wire it up.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
I think I wired the white as power(+) and black as ground (-) be sure to hook up before the switch for your mirror lights, also, try the thing out before you install, would suck to get it complete, only to find out it didn't work , I just hooked the wires to my battery with clips, programmed it and tried it, then did the install, you can also retry it before sewing the visor back up to be sure the wiring is correct, good luck, mine works great
