Default 2004 Corvette; Which programmer is the best?

This post is for my buddy Joe and his 2004 LS1 6 speed Vette.

Which programmer have you used?

What gains did you get?

Which is the best one?

Who has one for sale?

I know a dyno tune is the best but he wants to try this first! He'll eventually get a dyno tune when he gets a long tube header system.

Thanks,Matt

I personally went with a Dyno Tune but alot of people I know really love the Diablo Sport Predator. Excellent programmer from what all these people and shops have told me. People with automatics will benefit from these even more because you can firm up the shifts on top of raising the -rev limiter- (Both) trans.
So I would at least look Into It. Best of luck
**Oh, Also I heard you can see anywhere from 15-25 Hp depending on the application~ Just what I've heard.

If reprogramming can achieve a 15 - 25 HP gain over stock, why doesn't GM apply that programming at the factory before delivery? Is there a down side to reprogramming such as too lean fuel mixture, burnt valves, etc?

I have used the Predator and it worked for everything I needed. I just happen to have one for sale that is designed for the 2004 models. Check out the dialogue in this thread:
