Cut and paste the link above and tell me what you think. I have spent over 350+hours on completing this kit from C5west.com. Do you all think it was worth it or should I have left it stock?
Personally I dont like it, but if you do thats all that matters. Good job though for doing what you wanted to do instead of what other people wanted you to do.

If I saw a car on the street that looks like that, I would expect it to haul azz. If you want to look like a C5R, then you need the muscle under the hood to go along with it. IMHO...if you make a car look faster...make it go faster too.
You don't have C5-R headlights.... that's the most important part. If you're happy that's all that matters, but from what I've seen the C5west parts fit like crap.
C5R is the name of the kit, it widens the front 6" which allowed me to put 295/30/18 on a 10.5 wheel using a 1.25" spacer. It will hold the road like no other, I have never took it to the max, if a curve says 35MPH the car can take it around 70MPH. On the rear is 335/30/18. The only performance mod is the z06 TI exhaust modified to fit with the tiger shark rear fascia. I have a stereo mod, got rid of the Bose speaker and put a 600W 5 channel alpine amp with Polk Audio Speakers a 12" pioneer shallow mount sub. Below is the vehicle under construction.
yes they do, there kits require allot of work and attention, I think I used about a gallon of vette fill, just applying it and sanding it down, over and over. There were so many waves that you could probably have surfed on the hood.
that looks retarded like u glued stupid sh*t all over your hood, it reminds me of the 79 toyota's i see driving around corona, but if you like it good for you..

I have 11" wheel plus 1" spacer on the front, running 285/35 ZR18 Nittos & it fits under the stock wheel well. For handling, R-compound tires, stabilizer bars, shocks, springs will all enhance road stability.
When it comes to appearance mods...then beauty is VERY subjective. If it makes you feel good, that's what matters!

Sorry but there is A LOT more to taking a turn fast than just slapping on a wider front tire and a wide body... Excessively huge tires will make a car feel numb at low speeds, less agile, and add rotational mass (not a good thing).
Interestingly the kit look ok from the rear... I'm sure it's the TS facia. I guess the front just looks too busy to me.
I see by your pick you went with Tiger Shark front. A good choice the rear fit better for me than stock and as pre drilled. If I had to do it over again I would have went with tiger shark front just because of the great fit and the different look.
What matters is what YOU want in such an amazing project! Period! Furthermore, as expected, a lot of thought, money, time, effort, and, even minor refabrication is often needed in any body modification that allows the installation of ANY aftermarket body kit. My friend, you have achieved your goal. Bravo! And, the overall new esthetic appearance displays the level of enhancement, and, the specific design cues YOU desired to upgrade to in an effort to create a more race inspired look. Welcome to the club! And, do keep us posted with your plans to modify the engine, suspension, and, brakes to further compliment your project! Enjoy!
