I think 4 doors is a big help. When my rugrats were young, we had a Suburban and a 96 T-Bird. What a pain in the a$$ getting kids in and out of the back. The other issue with any of the coupes is the only place a rear facing seat fits is in the back/center position. Generally they don't fit behind the seats.
I have talked to a few people that own or have owned Mercedes. They get very expensive to maintain and most of the parts are only available at one source. The dealer. Even the battery on some of them is a dealer only part.
Out of the choices I have seen listed on the forum. I would go for a CTS-V or the Trailblazer SS.
Yukon Danali, tow package and then I can tow the vintage Vettes (upcoming) to shows...
Agreed I own a Yukon Denali it pulls for a suburban and it sounds great with the larger engine and denali mufflers. All it needs is a charger. I bought mine used with 20,000 miles for 30k A great deal.
I would love to own a STI Limited and then buying some parts from www.crawfordperformance.com and and make that a fun car to drive on the rainy snow days.

I have a 2 month old daughter. All i did was sell my regular cab Dakota and got an 01 extented cab and kept the kept the vette. I know my truck isn't the hottest truck out there, but its nice DD that more importantly is paid for...
Just out of curiosity, have you had any problems with the rearend? My son has a 2006 SS Trailblazer and he's on the second rearend. Supposedly, they've had a problem with them in that area.
