I know this is not a c5, but check out the final bid on this one!
Wish I would have bought one and kept it in the garage.
A million bucks is a lot of money (well, to me it is anyway). But rare cars like that command a high price from either enthusiasts or investors....or both.
As for "I wish I'd bought one and kept it in the garage", yep, hindsight's 20/20.
Maybe I'll go out and buy a brand new C7 and let it sit in the garage for 54 years and hope it becomes collectible. Hey wait a minute, firstly, I don't have the money, and secondly........I'll be over 110 years old!!!!
They had the value at $2.5-5 million!! As much as I love all Corvettes, especially one that is worth a cool mil, I can never seem to warm up to a 6 cylinder Vette. Thank god for Duntov!!
Nice , but even if I had that kind of money laying around it sure a %^%% wouldn't go for that car. It's a old vet and drives and handels like a small tank.

Those first year cars really don't do anything for me. I can think of a lot of other things I'd do with a million bucks.
nothing that rolls on 4 wheels is worth $1M that is IMHO.
Except a Maclaren F1 the first year they were released, since the purchase price bought you a spot in some European Grand Prix race... And the car tunes itself via internet when you park it and plug it in to the included workcenter...
