Flowmaster systems for $500?????
I am currently running Flowmaster single chamber mufflers with mandrel bent piping sent out to four 4" stainless tips. The sound reminds of a true muscle car. Loud like the B&B's, but at a tone close to stingers. Personally I think it is the best of both worlds. We all know Flowmaster is known for their V8 rumble, but I always felt their Corvette systems are garbage. The shop that built my system showed interest in building a few systems at $500 a set. They would use my car to build the jig and go from there. They would also keep it to two tips instead of my four.
The systems would start right before the muffler, so these would not be considered a true catback. You would still use your OE axel pipes and the stock system would be cut right before the mufflers. The new system would then slip over and band clamp down to prevent leaks. This would be 100% do it yourself. Only work would be to assure tips were straight. After all the compliments I thought it would be a good investment for the shop.
what type of feedback from the forum is there on this?

I wouldnt want the flowmasters personally but maybe if he could make a kit with tips like yours that would just be straight pipes ( similar to the BB ) i would be interested in knowing how much they would want for that
Look here ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and do it for $366.00
