Everyone has told me "gears."

If (when) I start down that slippery mod slope, that's my first plan.

Gears work great.. for us A4 guys. For you M6 guys, look into a Head/Cam kits. Big bang there. Long tube headers would really cap it off.

I started with the induction, but in hindsight it was a waste to do that first. Headers, x pipe, good aftermarket exhaust (or Z06 ti's) are excellent mods - and less than 3K installed. The gear change ROCKS. I put in 3.90s for about 1600 bucks, and it is a different car. Dyno tune all of this together and you will have a solid performer.

Good luck!

Gears, long tube headers, heads/cam, dyno tune. All of these should get you better performance.

I have a 2000 Vert and modified intake with a Vortex Induction system. 80mmTB, LS6 manifold to get air in. Then headers to get the gas out. Car dyno's at 346 HP/365 Torque with 4.10 differential. It is a very quick stoplight car even without cam or heads - my next step.

next step would be exhaust, the best way to get your engine to perform better is to get it to breathe better Long tubes and a cat back if you want to go all out, or just a cat back if you want a few ponies and dont want to break the bank, dont waste your money on shorty headers tehy dont perform any better than the factory manifolds
