Well, I bought a great Nasssau blue painted top from a forum member, great guy, but when it was delivered, I found it was damaged during shipping. It was insured, but UPS wants to pick up the top before the sender collects money and pays me back. my problem is, i want the top, can this be repaired "correctly" and should I let UPS take the top before I am paid back. The seller, Jerry, is a great guy, he has been in contact with me and I saw picuters of it before it was shipped and it was perfect. Nassau Blue tops are rare, and I will probably never find another one. What should I do???? I am out my money right now, and if i let them take it, then I'm out the top as well. The seller seems very honest and I am sure he will refund me, but what do ya'll think?

That's not completly true. When I checked on that months ago, I was told, matching Nassau Blue on a nine year old car would not be exactly the same. Also, the cost of paint and labor would be several hundreds of dollars, not counting the cost of the top.

This is more than just repainting You will be out a LOT more $$$$ If thats cool so be it but other wise send this back right away! the longer you waite the more likely It will wind up being YOUR fault! Dude Its just a sign of the times
