Hi- I need some opinions/info. I have an '02 Coupe w/ 32,000K on the odo. Mostly city/suburban type driving. Is it time for pads? I think we have pad wear indicators on the C5. If I need pads what type of sound should I be hearing? Also, I have a cold start problem, i.e., if the car is left outside overnight, around 30 degrees, it won't start in the AM. The battery is cranking but no ignition. Replaced the Battery on 11/05 with OEM. Anyone experience this? Thanks.

the factory pads do have the wear tabs on them, so you should hear them when it's time to replace them, but the tabs could be bent or they could be aftermarket pads which don't always have them, the only way to know for sure would be to look at the pad and see how much material is left.

Just take a look at the pads - easy to see if there is a lot of pad left. With only 32K on the car, you should be OK unless you have really abused the brakes.
