Default C5 Tail Light Screw Source?

Besides ordering them from the dealer...does anyone have a source, part #, etc? Thanks.

What about hardware stores? They should be able to help you out.

The original C5 taillight screws are a torx head (#15 I think...), black anodized with a special tip and thread pitch. I doubt that you'll find them in a regular hardware store - but if you have one to match, you might find one at a place like McMaster-Carr.

Ace Hardware should have them. I remember reading where someone needed them and found them there.

Bought some stainless ones myself..I needed longer ones with the spacers I used on the lights! Screwed in fine..NO rust..had them on there for almost a year now.

I remember reading that they have them too. If they don't have black, you could always put a little paint on the heads.

Seems that GM has confused a screw with screwing someone. Easy mistake, I suppose.
