I'm still in the process of doing mine. Once I get it done, I might actually be in a position to help. Right now, I'm learning about the mod myself.

Thanks. Don't know if you saw the thread I started a couple weeks ago asking about this very same mod. Here is a link to that thread. It contains a lot of good info. I hope to have my parts by tomorrow and will start the conversion no later than Thursday. I'll let you know how it goes. Here the other thread. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...t=interior+led

You could cruise down to see it in person to see if it is something you want to do before you jump in.

Excellent job! Another good source for info there. I will definately give it a thorough read before doing anything to mine. I'm still waiting for my lights.

Don't go around spreading lies Dave. The gurus are Bell, Tim, SPDKLZ and everyone else who's actually touched an led. I'm still waiting for parts, but I've got my stuff ready to go in the garage for when they arrive. I'm hoping today.

Hollywoodvette, check out the link by Kamevil, because spdklz does offer his services for the led mod.

Hot damn, I'm on the "A" list!!!!!!

JC - Bell and I are still working on the problem areas. Bell is foraging ahead on perfecting the LEDs while I’m working out of the box trying to get some color in the IPC and to brighten the Radio, HVAC and Traction button in my version (Red bulb covers) …

If anyone has a stock Radio, HVAC or Traction button they want to donate for testing PLEASE let me know!!!!! I’ll gladly pay shipping and possibly a little money…

Nope. Stockers already have a blue cover on them, not that it does a whole lot.

I found replacement T1 bulb covers at the following site...

http://www.mcmaster.com/ Enter 16925K11 into the search field.

Another source I haven't tried...

https://www.jkllamps.com/index.cfm?a...m&tid=4&fID=38

There are a few different colors you can get. I used red here's an example...

It does look sharp doesn't it. I've always been a fan of Red interior lighting...

Makes me feel all TACTICAL and stuff!
