Question about stock intake
I have a 2002 convert, which I bought used. My air cleaner cover has an opening or scoop (facing down) which is about 2/3 the distance between the straps. Does this sound like the the stock airbox cover or could it be that the previous owner installed a Z06 cover?

Sounds like the Z06 style! Perhaps he put that on instead of the stocker!

The Z06 intake had a much larger opening than the stock airbox had. If it looks like the one in the MAD link above, nice addition to the car.
