Suggestions on engine compartment paint
I have recently decided on a paint scheme for under the hood, but I'm curious about your opinions. If the FRC's are stock painted a solid color w/some design should I go ahead and buy the smooth covers or just have the imprinted Corvette FRC's painted to flow w/ the contours of the imprinting.Hopefully that makes sense any insight would be appreciated (by my wife) so the FRC's get off the kitchen table.

I have a black car - so using the body color as an underhood color wasn't really an option in my mind...if I was going to spend the money on painted parts I wanted a contrasting and complimenting color. My interior is the factory gray - which looks pewter to me - so that's what I went with....

I ended up buying a set of the smoothie style FRCs for mine in my car's color. Looks great IMO.

Hey blacksedan that looks great , but I want to incorporate an American flag striping on the FRC's with a white background(the entire FRC) using the Corvette impression as is only white. Your thought's?
