Fred, I spent a good 15 minutes in the Snap-On website and don't come up with a tire repair kit. I have a good one that I bought off the "auction site" for under $30 in a red "Snap-On" looking Delrin case.
I bought this product when I switched to non-run flat tires. I had to use it a few months ago. Since then I have done a few spirited runs with no problems. I know an inside patch is the right way to repair a tire, but in an emergency, this is a real easy fix.

Plug patch combo pulled through the inside of the tire
they sell plug kits at most all autopart stores. Also, Sears make a nice small compressor. Just make sure you pack a set of good needle nose pliers. The patct kit is no good if you can't get the nail/screw out.
yea. no brainer. get a cheep one at the autoparts store.
or go all out and buy one with a t handle rasp and an "eye". you get a few plugs and some glue.
I carry a plug kit and compressor in my C5, have never used it on the 'vette though.
One day, a tire was down on my pick-up so out came the plug kit from the 'vette.
What a S.O.B. to get the plug through the hole. I used the rasp and cleaned the hole out real well hoping to enlarge the hole, still had to use a hammer to get the plug into the tire. Guess it's the steel belting in the tread area.
