I put a trailer hitch on my '67 soon after I got it so I could pull a U-haul trailer. It worked fine. I still remember coming down an approach ramp onto an interstate and a '60's vintage Caddy (already on the interstate) stepped on it to avoid having me come out ahead of him. I downshifted and stepped on it, also. Boy, was he suprised

easy guys, a lot of guys here have to add a hitch so they can tow their race tires/wheels to the track.

It's your car, do what you want, just seems strange to use a sports car to tow anything.

Here is a short video of a run I made last summer on the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad. Our speed was about 35 mph.

Damn near every car in the "One Lap of America" race tows a trailer. Porsches, vettes, minis, you name it.

I have a 410lbs street bike on a 150lbs or so trailer. Think a Z06 would tow it without too much trouble (obviously power wouldn't be the issue)?

If you tow? Just remember the two most important things(Other than Gross Trailer Weight) are tongue weight and keeping a level trailer.

Right, I've been towing for years (boats, race trailer, etc). Just never tried with Corvette and never seen one towing more than a tire trailer.

This is almost as bad as the day I saw a custom pusher coach motor home towing an H1 Humvee
That guy had an easy $600,000 rolling down I-95
I bet you got lots of looks though
