i know it depends on how the car was driven,so in general how much life is left in some bilstein sports with 15k.

I think the Bilstein have a life time warranty so I would think they would build them to last close to 75,000 or perhaps 100,000 and I would say the factory shocks are good for 50,000 miles (IMO). If its a good deal I would buy them. Why is he getting rid of the sports? Is the ride too harsh for him? Will the ride be to harsh for you? I went with HD Bilsteins for this very reason and I love the results. Good Luck.

I've got 99K on my OEM shocks
Bilsteins are allegedly better and can be rebuilt when required...

I changed the Bilsteins on my C4 at about 80K. The old "bounce the car" test seemed OK, but new ones made the car drive much much better. 50-60K would have been about right IMHO.

Shocks

I have another set of stock shocks. They have 10,000 miles on them. I was going to replace the ones I have one at the moment. They wont work on my vette. I have the adjustble ride suspension. If any one need them let me know. I would like to help a fellow cf member.
