Problems with HID conversion kit Help
I installed an HID conversion kit last night, a plug and play system with 2 ballasts and 2 HID bulbs- an easy install but here's the problem. The headlight doors don't operate although the lights come on inside the housing. And, when I open the car door, the chime rings as if the keys are in the ignition, but they aren't.
Sounds like the computer is not liking the system I installed. Before I switch back to stock, any thoughts on making this system work?
The headlights are now very bright with an ice blue tint that is way cool. My friends with other car makes have installed these systems in their cars with no problems.

Where did you buy your kit? Sounds like you have an issue with your wiring harness(es), see this thread:

But before messing around with your wiring, I would suggest you get in contact with the vendor that sold you the kit for help

I ordered a set of lights in December from Vette-Hid and have not received the lights. Has anyone done business with Brian at Vette-Hid, if so is he reliable? I can not get my lights sent to me. I have pre-paid(I know stupid me) and as of April 2007 no lights. Is this Vette-Hid legit?
