So i parked my Vette for the winter Dec 1st, what I have been doing is once every 3 weeks connecting my battery tender for a day and then starting it and running it for about 20 minutes. Well today I got in and the car was dead with a capital D. Alarm still works at least. I hook up the tender and its flashing which means it wont charge. I hook up my dads van to the car, run it for about 1/2 hour to charge the battery, check, ok the cars got juice now, dash lights up etc, hook up the tender, the charge light comes on and I figure I'm ok. That was about 5 hours ago. I go outside now, the charge light is flashing, car is dead as a rock.
I am guessing my battery is probably shot now, everyone agree? Should I just leave the car be out there in the cold until the end of march or so? I would have the tender on all the time but the car is outside under a cover and the tender can't sit outside its not weather sealed.

I am not familiar with the workings of a Battery Tender brand charger/maintainer but most maintainers of this type will not charge a dead 12V auto battery. They are just meant to maintain the charge.
In your situation, I would have removed the battery and stored it inside with the tender on it. At this point though, if the battery is indeed shot, I would remove it now and wait for springtime and replace.
I just disconnected it, apparently my alarm system detected the voltage drop and went ape**** and keeps going off every 5 minutes. Its got enough power to blare the sirent but the remotes dont even work to shut it off because there is so little power. So I just disconnected it, I'll pick up a new battery in the spring I guess... UGH. I hope this doesnt cause electrical issues...
