Cluster questions again...
Ok, tell me if this is correct. Here's the story: I have a separate cluster with all the attaching bezels, lens, switches, etc. I am practicing on this one with a new color scheme and adding the metal gage trim rings and white gage overlays. I have torn it all down to all separate pieces. The white back is free from everything else. So, when I take my car's cluster out later in the spring, all I have to do is tear it down to the same process, then substitute the white back to retain the mileage, right? This way I don't incur any dealer charges for re-setting the mileage and I can take my time doing the mods without any vehicle downtime...agree? Later on I can sell off the extra pieces, or keep for spares. Good plan, or did I mess up?
