my right drl is out - tried changing the bulb... what fuse is this actually called and where abouts? Exchanged #38 and #40 relays but left one works and right still does not. I also put the new bulb in both sides - works on left but not right.??? Hope this just something i am overlooking. Thanks.
I'd bet that your running into a somewhat common problem - the DRL has melted a hole in the top of the assembly and over time the socket itself has become corroded as water got in the hole. You'll want to plug up the hole and may have to patch in a new socket, if it can't be cleaned up. I think you can get the sockets at an auto parts store, and many have used an epoxy type filler to plug the hole - something that can hold up to moderate temps.

Considering that the plastic melts from the lights being on, all the time. You might consider killing the DRLs. Of course, it would have the added benefit of one less car on the road that drivers have to see with lights on in the daytime.
But, in the meantime, you still have that problem with your turn signal .
