PCV Valve???
For a while now, I've been smelling oil in the cab while at red lights....Smelled like a blow by, so started to investigate the problem and found the rubber elbow joint on the pcv valve is rotten, andybody know how to replace the pcv valve...basically how it comes out, some you just pull but I want to make sure before i break something, also where can i get the lil hose?

Ok Where is the pcv valve? The hose that comes directly out of teh valve cover on the driver side is rotted, its a rubber elbow joint....is it directly connected to the pcv valve which is in the valve cover or is the pcv valve somewhere else?

If its the hose, you can just get 3/8th fuel line from any automotive store and replace it...

the pcv is on the passenger side valve cover. Sits above it, right about in the middle of the cover. If you've cracked that Y shaped hose then I don't think you can buy that seperate. I had the same problem and bought an entire new pcv setup from gene at gmpartshouse.com for pretty cheap. Installed and feel much better now ; )
