I just purchased a set of Z51 springs to replace my current softride setup. I am looking forward to the upgrade, it will compliment my BILTSTIENS, HOTCHKIS and tunnel plate.
I was thinking about cutting some of the bushing off, but not quite sure as of yet, the car is currently lowered on stock bolts, so I was looking at going a little lower. I also have the lowering bolts for the rear too, so maybe another half inch.
I'll gladly add my opinion because I just went through this. I slammed my car with 19s all around and I had to swerve out of the way of normal bumps. Anything even small felt like I was crashing the car. Then changed shocks to bilsein sports and it was nearly the same. This weekend I raised it about an inch all around, added front bushings again and it's much better and very nice to drive. My point is that you will probably not want to go any lower than stock bolt settings with bushings. Also don't forget that it's not only the ride, you'll bottom out eventually on a speed bump or something else. No doubt it looks best slammed but it's not worth it AT all for me
