C6 Z06 shifter height

i want to order a shift boot from redline, is the C6Z06 shifter any shorter then the factory C5 Z06 shifter? thanks

yes- it is shorter and also has a larger neck on it at the bottom of the **** so the C5 boot is a chore to make fit...a lot of guys have gone to Vette Essentials as they make a boot specific for the C5 using the C6 Z shifter and ****...but it is something in the neighborhood of $55 beans...

Look in the Z06 section for C6 Z06 shifter threads...there is a pic showing the height difference...

Yes it is...I have the C6 ZO6 shifter in mine and that Redline boot worked great for me. Just point out to them it's a C6 ZO6 boot for use in a C5.
