While driving the back end of the car squeaks sometimes, usually when hitting a bump or when the car shifts, or lil bumps. Makes a very loud and annoying squeaking sound, Im guessing like a bushing on one of the control arms needs a lil lithium grease, but I'm not for sure anybody else have this problem? I dont have a jack so Im waiting on my exhaust to get here and when we get it on the lift I'll take a look at it..
- one is the bushings obviously, they do tend to wear out after a while
- second is your exhaust. If an exhaust flange is loose or broken, your exhaust will bounce every time you hit a bump causing a squeek noise over bumps. This happened to me and got it fixed
- transmission cooler. I also had this happen to me, every time I hit a bump, I'd hear a loud squeak coming from the back. Turns out the transmission cooler was rubbing up against the tranny, causing this squeak. It was adjusted and the problem went away.
