Default Z06 wider???

Is the C5 Z06 wider than the C5 Coupe or Convertible?
The reason I ask is because I replaced my C5 Coupe with a Z06 and when pulling in the garage it seems a tighter fit.
Is this just my imagination?
TIA

Well the rims and tires are wider, but that doesn't change it's exterior width.

I thought so. maybe it the color change T. Red to M. Yellow. I'm seeing more of the extremities of the vehicle via contract.

Thanks guys.

Sooooooo true. This vehicle is the first sports car I have had in probably 25 years that bring a smile and goose pimples every time I get ready to pull her out and especially after I turn the key. NO

Wider wheels and tires, plus the brake duct make it appear wider, but it is not.

Einstein’s theory of relativity states that at high velocities the ZO6 should be shorter in length than a regular C5; but, the width will stay the same. I would argue that since the Z even looks fast while sitting still, this effect still holds true, relatively speaking of course.

It is possible that your paint is a little thicker than on your friends C5.
