That looks really good and I like the pattern. RACEDECK was my first choice but doing 1,815sf was almost $6,000 (installed). I went with the roll out coin pattern vinyl and had my shop stuff on it within two hours.

Beautiful job Bill! I'm planning to put down "U Coat It" on our garage floor before we put anything in the garage if the builder ever finishes the house.

What happens when you spill fluids on it... I'm assuming they'll seep in between and underneath.

Looks fantastic, but I'm not sure if it's ideal for a 'working' garage.

Yes, fluids will seep underneath. I am sure if I were to pull up some of the Racedeck in the middle of my garage, there would be some nasty muck in there. But the muck doesn't affect the look, feel, or operation of the Racedeck so other than being bothered by the fact that I know it's there, it doesn't cause any problems. If I ever remove the Racedeck there will likely be some cleanup to be done to the floor and it will definitely need a fresh coat of paint.

The only thing I don't like about my Racedeck now, having had it for over a year, is it has lost a bit of its shine and luster. I put down some Racedeck restore ($30/gal, enough to do the 3 car garage several times) which looks like it's just a floor wax of some sort. It definitely restored some shine but it's just not quite the same as when this stuff is new.

Note, my Racedeck has seen just about every type of solvent and fluid that you would find in a shop, including degreasers, brake parts cleaners, brake fluid, transmission fluid, motor oil, paint thinners, you get the picture.

Oh, just for what it's worth, Racedeck also takes the abuse real well -- I've had my motor and cradle out twice, with all the weight supported on a small hydraulic cart with just 4 little wheels. The Racedeck didn't bend or discolor from the weight at all! I am guessing there was probably 600 lbs of weight across 4-6 square inches of wheel contact patch on the floor.

For the ultimate in garage floor bling, check out Racedeck Pro. I think I am going to put some of this down in a small workbench area I have in the garage.

Default I agree

Yeh, there's nothing better. I spent MUCH $, and several summers, carefully prepping and painting my floor, only to watch it peel (only under where the tires cross it) in the winter. I went to RaceDeck a couple of years ago (in black and tan, to match the car) and I've never been sorry (even about the expense: about $1800). I do get ribbed by people who catch me mopping it in the summer, but oh well...

Creeper friendly, won't scrape you up (it's a polymer plastic that's soft to the touch, but sturdy enough to support my engine, control arms, power steering rack, and cradle on a cart without budging). Not solid, think of it like a flat surface with "stilts" underneath that are close together.
