Trouble with first sometimes second
Hey guys. I am having a little difficulty with my car. It's one of the most beautiful C5's 98 pace car 6 speed. Many times I think that I am in first or second but I'm not. It seems to be worse when I first start driving but after a while it is better. Sometimes the only way to get it into gear is by letting off the clutch a little. There are times it feels like it just will not go into gear at all. Any suggestions. And just for the record boys this girl does know how to drive a manual transmission. My daddy was a firm believer that all women should be able to drive a stick and that's what I learned to drive on. No wonder I have a need for speed!

Switching tranny fluid out to Red Line D4 ATF or Royal Purple may be more helpful than you might at first think. I'm assuming you still have the stock shifter and don't have any mechanical (adjustment) issues of course.
Many here (including myself) have noticed a definite improvement in the smoothness and ease of gear engagement after two or three weeks of driving.
