NY: Tuning Question
I want to get my car dyno tuned and I was to know which is the best tuning software to use (HP tuner, LS1 edit, etc...)...And which is the best tuner in the New Yoek area?
I hear that it isn't good to tune your car with LS2-edit and I hear some tuners will tune your car with LS2-edit.

I've never used them, but Vette Doctors is in amityville so it's right around the corner from us. I have heard good things from other about them. They are a forum sponsor and can be found on the left.

you can also check out Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester...he's a supporting tuner here on the forum...he's one of the best on the east coast...

As far as awesome tuners go, especialy in New York, theres only one person you need to bring your car to........Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester in Ossining, New York. He is using the latest and best software, and combine that with his knowledge and experience of tuning tons of cars and you will have yourself one killer (and more importantly, SAFE tune)!! Just call his shop and speak to him, he will blow you away just with his knowledge of tuning over the phone!! Also what I like about him is once you pay for a tune from Chuck, you never pay again. If you do any upgrades to your car after the tune, he will re-tune your car for FREE!. Chuck tuned my 2005 Vette and my 2004 Silverado pick-up and the difference was amazing.......the Vette now pulls so much harder through out the entire RPM band and never once did I get any pinging, check engine lights or anything like that...just got an automatic car that runs it's big *** off!! Also I do not want to start a war but I have been at his shop when there were customers there that had their cars tuned by one of the so called "Big Name" guys here in NY and there cars were pinging, running dangerously lean and when Chuck got done they were amazed. Good luck with your choice but give him a call and you will see!!

I agree, and using LS2 EDIT these days is like listening to cassette tapes instead of CD's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
