Default Anyone using this shift ****?

As the title states, anyone using this shift-**** and have a picture of it installed?

http://www.corvettepartz.com/images/...umbs/z06SK.jpg

If so, do you like it? Does it sit higher than the stock ****?

Thanks,
Vinny

I'm have it and I think it sits up very high. I want to change it and will be going back to stock for now most likely.

Switched to the stocker and I don't like it as much as the other one. I would like to switch back but it was glued on and I ruined it switching to the stocker. Here is the picture:

As you can see it sits about an 1" or 2" higher than the stock **** on the stock shifter. I hated it on my stock shifter, it kept twisting and was soo high it my 3rd gear shift a pain. I bought a Hurst sifter and a delrin ****. However, once installed and seeing the lackluster apperance of the delrin **** I decided to go back to the **** pictured above. It works great on the hurst shifter, I love it. No twisting, perfect height, no rattles and feels great in my hand. Crazy how it took a different shifter to bring it down to the height to make it work perfect.

If you can find an MGW ****, it's the best aftermarket option in my opinion - I've had several and it has a number of benefits:

- Threaded like an OEM ****

- Drops the shifter 1" or more

- Heavy/Solid

- Small, easy to grip

- Looks great without looking so aftermarket

The trouble is MGW apparently dropped all their Vette products since they only show Mustang and Viper parts now. They do occasionally show up used - they also made a matching e-brake handle and radio/AC *****.

You can find them "Z06 grey", silver or chromed (actually my **** is a "limited edition black").

Good luck! A great **** makes a HUGE difference.

I have found a used one to replace the one I ruined. I am not sure I will keep it on but I haven't found anything better yet.

Found a website in AU that has very similar shift *****. Look under the tab for interior style and they are about halfway down the page.

I have been thinking about a C6 ****, how tall is it? I really like the weight of the one I have now too, seems to help with shifts.

Awesome! I am tired of the stock shift ****'s shift pattern coming off in a hard 2-3 or 3-4 shift!
