Just found this board and just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've already gotten a lot of good information from the various posts here. and I've only been on a couple of days. I've wanted a Corvette since I was 16, so I'm only 34 yrs late, but finally got the house paid off and the kid will be going to college in 2008 so I decided to take the plunge. Found a beautiful black 1998 conv. with light oak interior and top. 21000 original miles, never seen rain, owned by a 59 yr old women who only put 10,000 miles in 6 yrs, never abused, always in climate controlled garage and I plan on keeping it that way. Appraised in strong #2 showroom condition. Looking forward to getting out and enjoying the new purchase.
Congratulations! I bought my first one ~7 - 8 months ago. (I turned 50 last November). The excitment never goes away, nor does the addiction to modify it.
Congrats on buying your Dream car,it only gets better !!! Here's wave from TENNESSEE !!! I had to wait till I was 49 to get my 1st Vette in 05 and am now on my 2nd at 51 !!!!!
Well I would but for some reason I'm not able to post attachments.
Although it sounds like we are able to post attachments, we really have to load our pics on a server, and post the url for them. It is not like attaching a file into a word doc...
Welcome, don't let her ne a garage queen - get out any enjoy her...
