Recommend?
I am new to the myrtle beach area, Who do you trust for a oil change and such? I would like to stay away from the dealerships or should I say 
stealerships!

Buy yourself a good floor jack and jack stands, some Rhino Ramps and an oil change container and do it yourself. Most dealers will want anywhere from $60-80 each time to change the oil (depending on their hourly rate) and you can do it for half of that. Besides, doing it yourself lets you see if there are any issues under the car and you know it is done right.

I have been doing MOST of my changes, But don't know what to do with the drain oil. I used to be able to take it to the Boro Garage, but they stopped taking almost all haz-Mats a few years ago and I'm starting to accumulate quite an amount of used oil. Any Ideas? What do you guys do with yours?

Hey neighbor, I live in Little River SC as well. Drop me a PM and I can save you some money. I always do my own fluid changes and it's pretty easy. I just don't trust anyone with my car, unless I have to. By the way, we have a great vette club here in Myrtle Beach, give me a call. I will give ya details.

I don't know what a "Schucks" is? But we do have Advance auto Parts in the area and I'll ask them if they'll take it. Thanks for the direction. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. For a state that's known for accepting every other states "trash" Jersey has some strict DEP laws.

Find a shop or garage that has an "oil" burning heater. Lots of shops, even in New Jersey are installing them to dispose of waste oil and heat their garages. I have a friend in Mullica Hill that has one and loves it.
He did say that synthetic doesn't burn as well as regular oil and he has to mix more kerosene in it to get it to burn.
