HP difference in 97 through 04?

i know all C5 vettes (non z06) are rated from gm at 350 hp......someone told me that the newer C5's make more like 380 hp rather than the 350 they are rated at from just general tweaking to the engine from 97 through 04. does anybody know if this is true or not?

I understood that convertibles are rated at 345 and coupes at 350.

'01-'04 - rated at 350 hp

These are for the coupe and vert. Z06 was 385 hp in '01 and 405 hp in '02-'04.

The boost you may have heard about is an icrease in torque in the 01-04 manual trans cars...it went up to about 375lbft or somewhere around there...i think this was also due to the newer intake...
