Tranny Fluid
How many miles did you guys have on your Z before the first transmission fluid change?

I don't know when you're "supposed" to, but I change mine out every year
send a PM over to a guy that goes by the name subdriver...he hooked me up with all the info and pricing I needed

The reason i ask is because the Helm manual states that no change is EVER neccessary!

Yep, changed mine 4 or 5 times with different fluids and fluid combinations until I finally landed on and stayed with AmsOil ATF

Changed mine right after buying it.Royal Purple fluid and it does shift better.

I did mine at around 40k miles.
I was surprised at how dark the fluid had become.

Having just over 7k miles on my '04, I am leaning towards doing a tranny and rear end fluid change.

The only problem Ive had is that the second to third shift can get caught up.At least for me its happened 3-4 times in 4 yrs.Does Royal Purple smooth that out?
