Been a solid 3 weeks and 700 miles now. Anyone considering a ZO6....read on! This is the most solidly built Corvette I have ever owned/driven. Nothing flexes, squeaks, leaks, or rattles. Remember "cowl shake" in the 80's??? GONE. Rough riding 84-85's...no more. Chevrolet really nailed it here, by all means this vehicle out performs anything on the road in my opinion, in looks, power, style, quality, and appeal. Finally broke the 3000K RPM barrier in 3rd gear yesterday and can testify that this thing really gets up a head of steam QUICK. Want to flatten your tummy??? Just press with your right foot. Took a road trip from San Antonio to Austin and the Z performed flawlessly. Got 23 mpg on the DIC too! I could not be happier with my purchase. By far the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased, but my fears have faded quickly in the last 3 weeks. Definitely a "keeper".
Advice to new buyers:
1. Get sill guards....your/passengers shoes will leave many marks on your door sill trim.
2. ZAINO the thing, it is as good as they say. Bought mine last week and it really does work plus it smells good!
3. Work your dealer for the best deal. Nobody (not nearly as many) is buying these days. My dealer came down very quickly, and I ordered in July!
4. Have fun. This car makes it easy! I just look at it and I start Grinning!!! :yesnod:  :flag :flag
