My luck is horrible, I bought my vette back in Nov. this past Friday I backed up into my garage (literally). I had just got done washing and detailing it and then pulled back into the garage-I got too close to the side. By the time I felt the bumper rub it was too late. Now I have a 2,000 dollar hole in the vette. Its at the dealership- hopefully I'll get it back Friday.
Yikes! That sucks royally! I would be so disgusted with myself. You baby these cars so much and take such good care of them and then something like this happens.
I just took my vette out of the garage last weekend for the first time in months. When I returned home I had my daughter at the rear and my husband in the front guiding me back into the garage. I have to manuever between our boat in the driveway and his vintage Nova in the garage. I don't think I would have moved my car if they were not there to help me.
Your situation just reminds me to go slowly and continue to have lookouts.
