I just purchased a set of Chrome C6 Z06 wheels and was wondering what to use on them to keep them looking new over the long haul ?
I was thinking of using either wax, WD40 or silicone. What do you guys recommend ?

WD40??? That would just attract even more dirt and and brake dust. There is a product called wheel wax that is made to withstand high tempatures and protect the chrome. Best advice is to keep them clean, do not let them stay dirty for too long. Chrome is very easy to maintain, just soap and water and a little polish or wax maybe every other time...
I use the cheapest paste wax I can find. I buy it in the dollar store. I have one of those small tubs of Turtle Wax now and I just put a coat on every inch of each wheel occassionally and they always look brand new. I do the barrels as well as the face of each wheel...
I sold a pair of chrome Z06 wheels in 2005 that had 4 years and 15000 miles on them and they were just like the day I first got them.....
