If you could get a 10,100 mile MY2002 for 30k would you go for it? My original plan was to buy in June/July/August, so I'd go have to take on a little extra debt to pull the trigger now. I'm on the fence with this one. Car supposedly is in immaculate shape with only a tiny scratch on the front fender. Also has 2100 bucks in added stereo equipment (upgraded front speakers, subwoofer and amp). I'm torn if I take the plunge now early or wait until summer hoping that I can find a similar deal/car.
Thoughts?
Thanks guys!!

Reason: typo's
The price will probably go up from here on out to a peak in about august. That sounds like a good deal to me especialy if it is Millenium Yellow( lol). Good luck.
the upraged stereo is nice, but in reality it doesnt raise the value of the car. If its important to you, then maybe its worth paying extra for it. But as you have noticed here, mods dont raise the selling price of a car much. thats why most people will demod the car first.
I paid about 30 for mine with 13k mi. and loads of cool extras. You could pay 2-4k more for the same car in May. Maybe not. How lucky do you feel?
Cheers from Arizona.
I agree, you can usually find more deals during winter. My situation was an exception to the rule. I bought my 50th Anniversary EB Z06 with 929 miles in August 2006 for $36,000. The previous owner had only washed the car half a dozen times in the 4 years he owned it!
I think if you look around, you can find a deal any time of year, good deals just seem to be easier to find in the rainy/snowy season.
That deal could be hard to beat come summer-time, but the upcoming C6 LS3 and resulting C6 LS2 price hit may trickle down to affect our C5Z values as well. This is all pure speculation though.
sounds like a good deal for the mileage and if you like MY, all the better
paid 29.9 for my QS '02 18 months ago with 33k on the clock...already had intake, headers, and exhaust too
bought my 02 EB, 11,400 miles with about $2K in mods on it for $30 last October. No regrets, way too much fun. Sold a '67 435 coupe and put the rest in the bank after buying the Z. The old car was cool but a handful at anything over 90 mph. the Z will flash to 120 just going to the store for milk. the power and torque are indescribable.
I paid 29,500 for mine with 31k on the clock - cars are on the expensive side here though so I had to fly 400 miles and drive it home or it would have been another $2k easily...

JUMP on it if the car checks out clean and was well maintained!
I just got my Eb '02 with Blackwing, Carbon fiber air bridge, B&M Ripper, Borla Stingers, Custom Stereo w/ Pioneer HU, Infinity Kappa's, 2 10" Subs, Chrome ZO6's with new Michelen Pilots, 170* stat, some stuff I don't want like Granetelli MAF sensor and hypertech programmer(anyone want a programmer and MAF sensor for really cheap?) and all stock stuff except wheels for $30.5k with 17K on it. I would jump on the car if I were you depending on how the finances are.

A LOT of car for the money. I would buy it, especially if you love the color - who wouldn't?
I paid $34,000 for my silver 02 with 6k miles plus another $1500 to ship it. It was in perfect condition and the exact color I wanted. It was a plus that it had the CAGS (sp?) elimated, a partition installed, Mallet short shifter, steering column lock kit and the tires looked like careful 6k miles.
Most important for me is NO ACCIDENTS.
These Z06's are the best value, bargain in the automotive world. I can not say enough about how great this car is and i had owned many hi-performance Corvettes over the years.
