Yeah, it's a 2007, but....
This week's issue of National Speed Sport News has an article on page 21 about this year's Indy pace car. It will be a 2007 Corvette vert. This year will be the ninth time a Corvette has served as the Official Pace Car. IMS president Joie Chitwood was quoted as saying "Corvette is synonymous with speed to millions of worldwide automotive enthusiasts, so it is only fitting that the 2007 Corvette Convertible will pace the field for the 91st Indianapolis 500." I'm sure someone already posted the same info on the C6 side, but I thought the C5 guys would like to know.

but...the wheels look like azz. i hear they're also the new base wheels for the coupes and verts.
