More info on window motor issues
My 99 passenger window was stuck up, and I was hearing the clicking from the relay when hitting the button, but that was it, so I knew it was the motor.
Well, banging the living crap out of the door panel with my hand did nothing. So I took the panel off and banged on it with my hand some more (only to get a sore hand). So finally I grabbed a rubber mallett and hit it harder and it worked!
Point of this post: don't spend $300-$500 just yet if banging it with your hand doesn't work.
