for the most powerful N/A SBE 346ci to date with this combo! This will be done through the stock rear end(3.42) and on 93 octane pump gas. Only a couple more days 'till the ZO6 is done by Vengeance Racing. Then we got to get some traction! Here's a little pic of the some of the secret weapons.

Goodluck, let's see how it runs.
That's more interesting to me than dyno numbers.
Some guy just posted 511rwhp and 450+rwtq.
I was at the dyno the other day with a buddy an his 04 cobra... He was calling me out on my car saying he didn't believe mine made that much power on stock shortblock.
So I told him if it doesn't make a least 495rwhp I wil pay for his dyno time. He agreed
So we put it on the dyno and it made 513 rwhp and 451 rwtq.. Only difference from when it made 505rwhp it was 28 deg outside. I also had my drag wheels on which are 15lbs lighter on each wheel. We were both shocked

The weather has no influence (or very small) on your final read if your dyno operator has a good accurate professional and serviced weather station. SAE correction will give you the same result by 30° or 80°, humidity will be under control (when well set-up) and DA will be taken care of also.....
If you see changes over 2% day to day same fuel same engine Water / Oil / Air Intake temperature, with the same tyres at the same pressure, then your measurement is wrong.
Those Dynojet software are very well build, and when the air brakes and weather station are in line you obtain very little dispersion in your measurements.
FYI my drivetrain was stock to the tyres, except the clucth, but that's obvious with this power and the weather the day of my dyno numbers were:
Time(EST) Temperature Dew Point Humidity Sea Level Pressure
7:53 PM 55.9 °F / 13.3 °C 41.0 °F / 5.0 °C 57% 30.22 in / 1023.1 hPa
Hy robz,
The guy (Forum Member) you are speaking about (myself in this case) is also driving his powerful ZO6 "fast in certain ciconstances", did you not watch the videos in my thread??
Regards
Christian

ANY car will make more power when it's COLDER outside be on the dyno or street EVEN with the correction factor.
Dyno's are really just a tuning tool. The track here opens on Feb 25th I can't wait. It's only 1/8 mile. If I can run 6.9xx @ 100+ the first time out I will be extremely happy.

I'm always curious on the "cost per power" ratio on setups like this. I know you can add mods forever, but just thinking about a "package". Things like comparing:
N/A setup making ~500rwhp
Supercharged making, what, ~500rwhp
STS Turbo (or the like) making ~500rwhp ($8000 all said and done?)
And putting a dollar figure next to each. Most of us know the difference in how they feel and drive.

I'm biased, I LOVE the hit and sound of a big cam.I also love the HP & TQ curve of the N/A engine setup well.
