New Z06 Owner
I was looking at what I should do to tighten up my '99 C5 6 speed Convertible when the dealer rang to tell me that the Z06 they were waiting on had arrived. I solved the upgrades problem!!
Experiences so far - the Z06 feels like a smaller, more nimble car and just feels awesomely strong. The suspension is pretty well sorted for road use without too much crash&bang. The exhaust note is much more subtle than my previous Corsa Indy's but this is actually a GOOD thing since I tired of all the pops & bangs after a while. This is gnarly but not over the top.
Road performance so far has been very impressive. The car is still too new to really try it out yet (50 miles or so) but I will.
What 'mods are people doing to their Z06's? Improved air box/filter OK - but what else?

Oh, and you absolutely MUST get a CAGS defeat!!!!

Congratulations!! What color did you get? If you want to keep it stock, add the k&n replacement filter. I also like the feel of the car a little lower in the rear. I lowered mine to the end of the factory adjustment. Improved the handling a little and looks better too.
