Power steering leak question............
I am in the midst of a battle with Porsche over a leak I experienced in my power steering system in a Boxster S that was three months old. Porsche contends that it was the result of my having taken the car onto the track (road course) and therefore not covered under warranty that excludes damage resulting from racing and off-road use. I have yet to find any Porsche mechanic who sees a relationship between the track use and power steering failures. BTW, the Boxster S does not have a power steering cooler, as does the C5 (I have been driving a Z06 for a year now!)

Sounds like Porsche dealers are passing the pipe with domestic dealers :rolleyes:
Unless you hit something on a track how is that going to cause a power steering leak?
