I had about $600 on a GM card that I used. I got my Vette at Kerbeck at the end of July in 04. GM had big incentives because they were starting to make the C6s. Kerbeck had further big mark downs to move the C5 off the lot to make way for the C6s. If I did not take the 0% I could have gotten another $2k off, and if I had owned another GM car at the time there was another $1k off. By September there were even bigger incentives, 0% for 72 months and more cash off.
Some guys who did not do the 0% were geting 10k off and 12k off by the and of the year.

I only asked about the highlighted above, because when people have told me in the past the put ZERO, NOTHING, NADA, out of their pockets, then tell me about a $7,000 trade in, $2500 on GM Card, thats not ZEREO THATS $9500 DOWN on top of all other incentives.......you would be supprised the stories i see & hear.

This is a good one. Sold a guy a Vette convertible, 6 months later his next door neighbor comes in & wants the same exact deal. Tells me no money down ( nothing out of pocket ) 48 months, wants same equipment but different color. Though the programs were not the same at that time as when his neighbor bought his, if they were here is the WHITE LIE, after being off nearly $10,000 & over $300 per month let him know his very own, best friend, like family next door neighbor LIED !!

It was 72 months, NOT 48mo, he had the gm card which he had about
$2,000 on, had a $3000 junk box comapny truck he traded in & put the taxes down. So thats 2 years more financing taxes were about $5,000 so he put down $10,000 none of which he told his neighbor about. To this day this guy still wants to know why he couldnt get the same deal ...............

I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING ANYMORE,

YOU THINK CAR SALESPEOPLE HAVE A BAD RAP & ARE LIERS ????

BUYERS ARE LIARS TOO !!!

When I bought my 02 Z new, I got the 0% financing for three years. It came out to $1467.00 a month. So don't count on it only being $500.

Here's what Dave Kerbeck has to say on the current offer. It's only available in certain states.

Final word from Chevy Zone Manager - 0% for 36 months or $500 Bonus Cash!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just got off the phone with the Chevrolet Zone manager. There are 2
different programs for new 2007 Corvette Coupes and Convertibles (excludes Z06). The program that you qualify for is based on your residency.

If you live in: CT, DE, DC, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, and VT then you qualify for $500 in Bonus Cash!

If you live in IN, VA or WV, it depends on your county as to whether your get the $500 Bonus Cash or the 0%. Call me to check you county.

The rest of country gets 0% for up to 36 months. There are no other special APRs for terms over 36 months.

You get one or the other on a Corvette, you don't get both and you don't get to pick which one you want! Offer excludes Z06.

To restate it simply, it doesn't matter where your dealer is located,
but where you live. A customer in NJ can not go to CA to get the 0%
and a customer in CA can't go to a dealer in NJ to get the $500.

For customers in the Bonus Cash area, we are offering $6,500 off 3LT
coupes plus the $500 for a total savings of $7,000.

For customers in the Bonus Cash area, we are offering $7,500 off
3LT convertibles plus the $500 for a total savings of $8,000!

For the rest of the country, we are offering $6,500 off 3LT coupes
PLUS 0% for 36 months and $7,500 3LT convertibles PLUS 0% for 36 months.

I hope this clears up all of the confusion!

EXAMPLE 1 (for customers in $500 Bonus Cash Areas):
Stock # G70877
Brand New 2007 Black Ext, Ebony Interior
Equipment/Options Include:
3LT Package

EXAMPLE 2 (for customers in $500 Bonus Cash Areas):

I was going to pay cash for mine, with my 340 sick day buy out, but my salesmen called and told me that GM had this offer of 0%. He told me this is the only time they have included the vette in this offer. So I put my money in my credit union to draw interest and I make a monthly payment to GMAC.

I will gladly use their free offer.

It has been done twice. The last time was in January 2004 and it was for a two week period of time

When I bought my '03 I paid invoice for it and got 0% for 60 months. This was on October 2, 2003. Invoice came to roughly $6000 below MSRP. I made no down payment, traded nothing in, and had no GM card money toward the purchase.

Since then I have a GM card and plan to apply whatever allowance is allowed on my next new Corvette.

Same here, bought my '04 in August of '04 just before the C6's hit the lot. Got GMS pricing and 0% for 5 years. Even with all that, after taxes it came out to $750/month. With the initial depreciation I was upside down in it for about a year or so, but now owe aroudn $21K and I'm sure I could sacrifice it for about $28-30K, so at 2-1/2 years after buying it I'm doing OK.

I am strongly considering doing the trade, and with the equity in my current car and the savings on taxes with trading it in (weird tax process in TN), I could get in a new coupe for around $42K (with GMID/Supplier), which keeps me just about identical to where I am with my '04. Problem is, it's only good through next Tuesday close of business and only on current dealer inventory (per my salesman, not verified anywhere else), and I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for.

Long story short (I know, too late), I'll probably pass for now and wait for the next time they do a 0% APR (seems like it's come up at least 3 or 4 times in the past 6 years). I'm not in a rush to trade or buy another, so I'll just sit back and keep watching.

I just paid my C5 off yesterday. I think I'll enjoy it. Makes it even sweeter that it's all mine!

Default C5 vs C6

I don't care what Chevrolet offers. My C5 is the BETTER Corvette. C6 reminds me of my C4. Save the Wave. George

Nah, when we got one of the last 2004 they were offering this in addition to our Supplier price; the $2500 rebate was a better deal for us though so we took that.

Default C5 vs C6

I have to admit the C6 body style is growing on me but I still like the C5 better. Both of our 04's are paid for and it feels good not having a payment on them. More $ for mods. I don't think even 0% for 60mos. would be enough to tempt me.

This 0% GMAC on Corvettes has that little side note, that is very little that says "Residency Restrictions May Apply"

Basically if you live where Corvette sales are good or even ok, you ain't gettin 0%

If you live in the out stretches where not many are sold, then, they'll give you the 0%

See here ===> GM Incentives
