I have taken on the Vette Net here at the dealership and I am selling a lot of this great product. I would like to offer these to all of my fellow Vert owners at the very special price of $340 plus shipping. Not a good deal, well it also includes the storage bag for N/C. Breakdown of pricing is as follows: Anodized Black Vette Net $349, Storage Bag is $49 so normal price would be $398 plus shipping and again you can get both for $340 plus shipping. They also offer these in Torch Red, Mag Red and Anniversary Red for $50 more.
Spring is coming and lets all enjoy these cars with the top down. If you would like to look at this product you may do so at www.vettenet1.com. I may be reached via email at dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com or at 406-628-4618, ext 105 to order.

My word of advice is that the thread was calling to convertible owners - from your pics and profile, you have a coupe. Also - Fichtner Chevrolet is NOT a stealership - they are a very highly respected Forum vendor for many years that has given many members service and FREE advice.
So before you say anything more - a word of apology is in order. Actually, the words - "I'm sorry" would be an appropriate response.

Not to hijack this thread, but allow me to address rc69wc.
I've been a member of this forum for just a little over a year. In my first month I made a witty (wise ***) response to one of ET's post. I was quickly torched. My ego was shattered. I said I would never visit the forum again... who the hell do those guys think they are etc. But I love corvettes and I couldn't stay away long.
My style of humor tends to be a little combative. Sometimes I have to stifle my responses, but I can live with that.
My point is, rc69wc, lick your wounds and welcome to the forum. There's a ton of personalities here and a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy.
What does everyone think about this product? I've read all the testimonials on their site and it sounds terrific but I'd like some real user feedback.
Thanks!

Carpecervisi My wife sure can tell you that it works great We always take it on road trips since it stores flat and I have been told it works great at 125mph

And as one of the "scolders" - I think that you have to know your audience. Taking on one of the most respected vendors on the forum, is probably not a good idea. I'm sorry if you feel that I came on too strong for taking you to task - but as lukee correctly stated, lick your wounds and move forward. Again - I apologize if I chased you away - that wasn't what I intended.
Vette Net, wouldn't cruise on the highway without it. It works great but it works best with the windows up, sorry about the look. It also works with the windows down, just not quite as well. Think the newer one is plastic of some type and shorter than the one I have. Very easy to install and stores pretty flat in the trunk.
Only problem i've had with mine is the air tends to push the top of it forward at freeway speeds. Going to see if i can fix that problem this year. NOt a big problem just don't like the look of it.
IF you cruise on the highway and want to be a little warmer when it's cold, like to listen to the radio and carry on a conversation easier, get a Vette Net
Does it work with the show bars (chrome hoops) and where does it install. I have used a net in an audi and a toyta and loved it, I just don't see room for it in my vette. Can someone post pictures of where it mounts, and from inside the car.
Thanks

Don't have any pictures right now but i'm guessing it might not fit with the chrome rolly's. Picture an upside down "L" about 4" wide. The top little part of the L has a 1+" hole in it that fits over the rubber stop where the deck lid closes on each side. You know, the stop that can be screwed in and out to adjust the fit of the deck lid when it's down. Open your lid and you will see it on the car.
If i put my seat back all the way it will almost or does rub on the net so you see there is not much room.
Just got one of these from Dennis a few weeks ago.I really like this new generation of Net...and the fact it includes the storage bag is another bonus. The 'better-half' swears by it, as it keeps her hair from beating her to death. Will really be testing it out soon on a little road trip to Miami.
Buy...you'll like it!
