Need help please.
I give up, I admit defeat
I need to install my rear plate (C5)and do not see how to remove the oem plastic frame . I dont want to force it and break some cheesy plastic bits so I humbly ask for help.

on either side of the surround, there are 4 small clips that hold the plate surround on. Small flat tip on 2 of the clips will release the surround.
of course, I could be wrong..

If it's the stock black plastic frame, just use a small flat bladed screwdriver along the inside edge of each end and pry gently. You'll see the snap-in tabs that hold it in place once you pry it out a bit. Just go slow and look at what you're doing and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for the info. I could see the 4 tabs/clips but didnot know how they released. With the knowledge laid upon me here I was able to remove it in about 10 seconds, LOL!
thanks again!
