Default exhaust decision?

I am looking to do a complete exhuast system on an 03 vert. I know the rear, cat back depends alot on personal prefferance to sound and looks. Can someone shed some light on headers and the mid section with cats? Price is important, but fit and ease of installation is the primary concern. Is there concern matching one brand of long tube headers to another brand of midsection to 3rd brand of cat back or mufflers? Any Help appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Kooks, LG Streets or Pros, American Racing with X-pipe and a Corsa Catback.
You are best to go with a mid/X-pipe from the header company you decide on to give you a good fitment and 100% bolt on install.

I also went with the LG Streets. I love them. Here's a link to my install thread. They were $1235 shipped with X-pipe and Hi-Flo cats (they were on sale, I don't know how much they are now). Good luck with your decision.

I also own an 03 vert, after a year of research decided on the Kooks. Used TByrne the sponsor of the C5 tech forum, best price and lowest shipping cost. Kooks enjoy a long legacy of top notch headers. Don't think you will be dissapointed.

The Dynatech Supermaxx system is very good. American Racing is also a good choice.

Yup, I was recommended American Racing Headers too.

I am going with the GHL Bullets as a catback. I don't want the drone that other catbacks like the stingers produce... and I don't want anything to loud as I will eventually be running a HUGE cam

However, I will be going with an offroad midpipe with the GHL's to get more sound out of them.

I have a cat back Borla Stinger set with only 100 miles on the mufflers and tips (so they are near new) and have a woinderful sound and very good flow. I will sell for $550 plus freight. If I knew how to put a photo in this I would send a photo. contact jmatheson@twincommander.com
