I actually purchased this then sprayed it with black tint ... thought that it would look good but I damn well oversprayed and you couldnt see the license plate lol what an *** I was.. I tried it but didnt work out .. $$$ spent.. but it form fitted nicely to the car that much I could add. needless to say 10 years in the running and still no front plate

Yep, Ohio too. I know because I ran without a front plate for just over a year. One monday, I was going to my softball game, went by a township LEO at about 25 in a 35 because of rush hour traffic. The s.o.b. pulled me over only because I didn't have a front plate. After he issued me the citation, I very politely said, "Keep up the good work officer." $100 fine. needless to say the plate is on now, don't need to give the jerk's a cheap reason to pull me over.
I used this cover for awhile, but every time I washed the Vette, soapy water got inside the cover, and I hated that.
I subsequently went with the standard surround from Kewl...noted below in the link...it's much better.
