Need simple explanation
I see the acronyms all over the forum
FRC = ?
Targa = One piece removable top, with hatchback
Vert = Convertable has trunk
Coupe = Hard top non-removable with hatch back
I have a targa..one piece top with hatch...what is FRC

Fixed roof coupe, aka, hardtop body style, similar to Z06 but without the Z06 engine that was sold in 99-00. It was designed initially to be a lower priced "racer" body style but the GM execs felt it would sell better if it had more power and more customized features, which became the Z06.
